Artslam, steam trunks, and shoes!

So late in updating the good ol' blog! Which is strange because I've been VERY productive lately! I joined Artslam again this year. Which is 92 days where you draw every day on a specific topic that you pick yourself. I picked working on my comic Codeword Papaya...now, I'm not sharing the comic pages I've done so far, but here are some concept/practice sketches!

(This one was drawn at Jack Asstor's on the paper tablecloth.)

J found a steam trunk someone was giving away down the street from us. I JUMPED at the chance to own it and asked made him help me carry it home. We are cleaning it up together to make it FANCY.
 You can tell it's filthy.
I forgot to take a picture BEFORE we started to tear the thing apart...but, here's what the origonal inside looked like. (Except not ripped up. I DID THAT.)
And lastly I'm working on a commissioned pair of custom painted TOMS shoes! These are the origonals...

Taped off and started to paint the base color.
Finished base color. If the color is approved I can go forth and start painting in the designs!! :D I'm VERY excited for this project!! :)
